Our Leadership

James Dickinson

Managing Director & Co-Founder

James heads up Steindale and has over 20 years of experience working in multiple facets of strategic land, planning, and low-energy building projects.

James previously held the position of Head of Land at a multinational strategic land company. During his tenure, he developed an excellent reputation for identifying and negotiating strategic land, effectively managing it through the planning process, and working closely with his contacts to ensure the successful delivery of projects to generate maximum value.

In his free time, James enjoys renovating his Victorian barn, exploring the countryside with his children, and watching motorsports.

Joint Venture Partnership

Steindale recognised the importance of forging a long-term strategic partnership where our developmental prowess and proven track record could bring substantial value.

Consequently in 2023, Steindale Properties Ltd was formed as a Land Promotion Joint Venture Partnership between Steindale Land Ltd and Hortons’ Estate Ltd.

Hortons’ Estate is an independent Birmingham-based property company with a substantial investment and development portfolio of £230 million, built from more than 130 years in the industry.
